Suffolk's newest Pan-Asian restaurant has hit the ground running since opening at the start of 2024.

Joseph and Louis James opened Big Bro Bao at Beach Street in Felixstowe on Thursday, January 18.

The restaurant specialises in Bao buns, bubble tea and chicken wings, which is a combination that has proven hugely popular with diners.

"We currently have a three-week wait for a table on a Saturday night, said Mr Joseph James.

"We had a great launch and, after only just over a week of trading, we are now in the top 20 places to eat in Felixstowe on Tripadvisor - with nothing short of five stars."

What is more, the business has announced the first of its events on Thursday, March 7: a dark table night where diners eat their meals in complete darkness, under a blindfold.

Customers on the night choose between three different menus - land, sea or earth - and then the control is handed over to the Big Bro Bao team as the five-course meal is served, with diners kept in the dark as to what they are eating.

Tables can be booked via the Big Bro Bao website.
