New family-run pizzeria opens in Southwold for February half-term.

Visitors to Southwold high street will get a fresh slice of independent Italian cuisine when ‘Doh Pizzeria’ opens its doors on Friday, 16 February.

Natasha and Andrew Fellas, and co-owner James Powell, are opening their first food venture together, serving pizza from midday to 10pm, six days a week, with a full license.

Customers will be able to dine in the newly fitted-out restaurant or take away when ‘Doh’ opens before the February half term.

There are plans for local deliveries in the very near future and ‘Doh’ has a spacious garden for outside dining.

Southwold and the surrounding area have had limited option for Italian cuisine ever since the closing of ‘Enzo’s Pizzeria’ last summer.

The creative trio have taken inspiration from careers in theatre and fashion to create what Natasha Fellas describes as a “young, fun and vibrant dining experience”, serving traditionally made pizza topped with the very best fresh produce.

“Doh came about because, as brilliant as Southwold is for food, it was missing a family friendly teatime experience,” says co-owner James Powell.

“Everyone loves pizza, and we are pleased to be able to offer it from lunch to dinner, six days a week. That is not to say it won’t be a brilliant night out. Keep an eye out for our occasional music events.”

‘Doh’ becomes part of a growing independent foodie quarter at the top end of Southwold high street, joining the likes of ‘Bread & Butter’, ‘Loaded’ and ‘Duchies’.

Creative ideas like art displays and occasional music events will make this pizzeria a go-to destination for visitor and residents alike.

'Doh’s' full menu will be announced on launch.
