Teammates of a 17-year-old footballer who died in a crash near a Suffolk town paid an emotional tribute to him with a minute's silence before a match on Tuesday.
Emergency services were called to the crash, involving a Ford Fiesta, in Sudbury Road, between Sudbury and Bulmer, at about 11.15pm on Saturday.
The driver, who has now been named as Sam Parsons, died at the scene.
On Tuesday evening Cornard United FC, where Sam played for the under-18s, hosted a minute's silence before their home game against Whitton United.
Sam's teammates were seen holding his football shirt in an emotional tribute to their friend.
Tom Clark, chairman of Cornard United, said Sam had passed his driving test "relatively recently".
He said the teenager was a "stalwart" member of the team who was dedicated to football.
"He was well-liked and respected by everybody in the team," he added.
Mr Clark said: "I knew him from a chairman point of view as a well-disciplined player, he was good to watch, he was a lovely lad and well-respected.
"Football for him and his dad was something they have always done together."
