A hit Suffolk pub has been left "delighted" after retaining an impressive accolade for the second year on the trot.

The Brewers was opened in Rattlesden by Sheona Fraser in October 2018 and instantly became a hit with those living near and far for their delicious food.

The pub has won national acclaim this year, having been named one of the top 100 gastropubs in the UK by Estrella Damm.

The pub has held two AA rosettes since February 2023.

According to the AA, around only 10 per cent of restaurants nationwide are of a standard that is worthy of one or more rosettes.

To receive two AA rosettes, "the chef must show greater technical skill, more consistency and judgement in combining and balancing ingredients, and have a clear ambition to achieve high standards," according to the AA Guide.
