Former council offices are set to go under the hammer next month.

Suffolk County Council is selling its premises in Street Farm Road, Saxmundham, at Auction House Auctioneers on Wednesday, March 20.

The property compromises of two buildings, both of which were previously used as houses before being converted to offices.

It most recently housed the Fromus Centre, before part of the building was demolished to create two separate entities.

A spokesman for Suffolk County Council said: "The sale premise would be suitable for various uses, subject to obtaining planning permission."

The property has a guide price of between £200,000 and £250,000.

The Fromus Centre, which is made up of Saxmundham and District Community Interest Company, Leading Lives, Saxmundham Library, SCC Office space, and a privately let unit, is unaffected.
