A new drive-thru McDonald's and Costa Coffee will be opening in west Suffolk later this year.
Proposals to open the two new stores were submitted to West Suffolk Council in March 2022 and detailed the construction of a drive-thru coffee shop and a drive-thru restaurant outside Bury St Edmunds.
The plans for the site of the Suffolk Business Park extension were approved in March 2023.

It has now been confirmed both businesses will be opening near the town later this year.
A spokeswoman for Costa Coffee said: "We're thrilled to confirm that a new Costa Coffee store in Bury St Edmunds will be opening towards the end of the year.
"We look forward to welcoming customers and the local community to enjoy their favourite cup of Costa Coffee."
A spokesman for McDonald's said: "The ambition is for the restaurant to open later this year."
An official opening date has not yet been announced.
