From Diversity taking to the Suffolk stage to an Easter-themed afternoon tea, there are many events to look forward to this March. 

All of these events still have tickets available at the time of writing. 

Diversity

When: March 26-27

Where: Ipswich Regent Theatre

Due to such high expected demand, Diversity announced their Ipswich tour dates back in November 2022.

Now, the time has come for the UK's most successful dance troupe to take to the Ipswich stage as they bring their new tour, Supernova, to East Anglia. 

The group last performed in Suffolk in June 2022.

Ticket prices start at £33 and can be purchased through the Ipswich Theatres website.

Ed Gamble

When: March 16

Where: Ipswich Regent Theatre

One of the nation's most-loved comedians, presenters and podcasters will be heading to IUpswich on his newest food-themed tour, Hot Diggity Dawg.

According to Gamble: "There will be all your classic Gamble ranting, raving and spluttering."

Tickets start at £28 and are still available via the Ipswich Theatres website.

Little Shop of Horrors

When: March 1-23

Where: The New Wolsey Theatre

A new production of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken’s hit musical will be playing for three weeks at the New Wolsey before heading off on a UK tour. 

The rock and roll musical tells the story of weedy flower shop assistant Seymour, who stumbles across a mysterious new plant with killer potential.

Tony Hadley

When: March 21

Where: Ipswich Regent Theatre

Hadley has announced a UK tour for 2024, where he will perform some of the greatest swing songs from a classic era of music, alongside some reworkings of his own classic hits. 

The Spandau Ballet singer will perform songs by Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, and Frank Sinatra as well as Spandau hits like True and Gold.

Spring Market

When: March 24

Where: Southwold Flower Co.

Southwold Flower Co. has announced a free spring market that celebrates local independent businesses.

Not only will customers have the opportunity to browse stalls run by local makers for Easter gifts, but there will also be food vans and coffee trucks serving visitors throughout the day.

There will also be a spring wreath bar, in which visitors can design their own wreath to take home with them, and workshops running throughout the day. 

Easter Afternoon Tea

When: March 23 and 30

Where: Queens Bury St Edmunds

Queens in Bury St Edmunds has made a name for its themed afternoon teas, with a recent Alice in Wonderland treat proving popular.

Now there will be an Easter-themed stack of goodies served, with two sittings available on two dates in the lead-up to Easter.

Now That's What I Call ... Drag!

When: March 1

Where: Hunter Club, Bury St Edmunds

The iconic drag night is back after a successful few events in the market town, with tickets starting from £10.

Join Knuckle Sandwich, Will Power and Shar Cooterie for a night of "drag, lip syncs, live vocals and chaos."

Now That's What I Call ... Drag has already got further events lined up for Suffolk throughout the year for those unable to make this one.
