A pizza restaurant in west Suffolk will be reopening this week after the sale of the business fell through.

Lucy's Pizzeria, Fornham All Saints, became a prominent part of the community since it first opened in 2019.

In December 2023 it announced it was closing its doors ahead of a change in ownership.

However, the restaurant will be reopening its doors later this week.

"We're back! The sale of our restaurant fell through on the week of completion which means we'll be reopening on Friday for business as usual whilst our wonderful place finds wonderful new buyers," said a social media statement.

"We have been working super hard to inject some spring into Lucy's to pair with a gorgeous new menu that our talented chefs have crafted together.

"We can't wait to see everyone again and serve our 'taste of Italy' that you all love so much."

The restaurant will be open for both dine-in and takeout on Friday, March 1.
