A west Suffolk man has been ordered to pay out more than £1,000 and banned from the roads after failing to tell police the identity of a driver in Lincolnshire.
Daniel Lee Jones, of Falmouth Street in Newmarket, appeared before Lincoln Magistrates' Court in January.
The 48-year-old had charged with failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver when required.
This was in relation to an incident Nettleham police headquarters north of Lincoln on July 17 last year.
The car in question was Volkswagen, according to a court listing.
Jones' case was dealt with through the single justice procedure, which typically deals with more minor summary offences that are not heard before a crown court.
He was ordered by magistrates to pay a fine of £660 in the hearing.
Jones was also told to pay a victim surcharge of £264, as well as costs of £110 – making a total of £1,034.
He was disqualified from driving for six months and his licence was endorsed with six points.
