A farm shop in Suffolk has been named the best in the UK at a prestigious awards ceremony.
Alder Carr Farm Shop, in Creeting St Mary near Needham Market, has been named the best small farm shop of the year at the Farm Retail Association awards.
The ceremony is one of the most highly-regarded in the industry, having been held for 45 years.
The retailer was praised for championing local produce, as well as using its own products.
Its cohesive unit, with its café, butchery and farm shop helping to support its customers, was also praised.
Emma Mosey, chairman of the Farm Retail Association, said: “Congratulations to all of our winners whose dedication and passion is reflected in the standard of their businesses.
"We thank them for their commitment to the industry which they help to grow and thrive.”
