The air ambulance was called to an incident in a Suffolk town centre.
Emergency services were called to King Street in Mildenhall at about 12.35pm on Thursday.
A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said two ambulances, an ambulance officer and East Anglian Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.
A man was taken to Papworth Hospital by land ambulance for further treatment.
