Two people have been taken to hospital after a fire at a petrol station which closed parts of the A14 in west Suffolk.
Emergency services were called to the incident at the Newmarket Rowley Mile garage at about 1.25pm on Sunday.
The eastbound carriageway was closed for some time and drivers were told by police to avoid the area "until further notice".
Pictures from the scene showed a cloud of black smoke billowing into the sky as two cars were engulfed in flames.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service has now confirmed two people were taken to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds after the incident.
The spokesman said: "Two ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle and four Hazardous Area Response Team Vehicles responded to reports of a fire at a petrol station on the A14 near Newmarket.
"Three patients were assessed at the scene and two were transported to West Suffolk Hospital."
BP, which operates the petrol station, has been contacted for further comment.
