"The team is making every effort to re-open all lanes as soon as possible. This flooding issue continues to be a regional priority, and we are seeking assistance from all parties."

Following the full closure last Thursday evening, a temporary 40mph speed limit is in place with monitoring and action taken on drivers speeding in the section.

Commuters have faced disruption on the road since February 20, marking nearly three weeks of delays and disruption around the town.
