A much-loved bakery in a busy seaside town has revealed its new look following a significant refurbishment.

Found on the corner of High Street and Victoria Street, the Cornish Bakery has made Southwold its home for six years.

On Sunday, March 3, the venue closed to carry out a complete refurbishment to give it a fresh new look internally and externally.

After reopening its doors earlier today, the Cornish Bakery has revealed the complete interior refresh including natural timber cladding and tiles in rich earthy tones.

Outside the garden space has been revamped to make it more comfortable in all weather conditions.

The bakery was opened by Lisa Cooper, Simon Hazegrove and Jez Taylor, of Southwold RNLI.

Another new addition added in the refurbishment was artwork showcasing Cornish makers.

Hanging lights across the business were made at Cornish-based Studio Haran and the walls are decorated with paintings and illustrations by Sophie Harding and William Luz.

The bakery's exterior colour is Little Greene's 'Boringdon Greene 295' which reflects its historical location and links to the North Sea off the Southwold coast.

"I am confident it will be the premium space and experience for both residents in, and visitors to the beautiful town of Southwold. Bakery is the new coffee shop and we are at the forefront of this.

"We are looking forward to welcoming customers, new and old, into our revamped bakery."
