Plans have been submitted to convert a former supermarket into a vet surgery.
Needham Market Veterinary Centre has asked Mid Suffolk District Council to change the signs of the former Co-operative store in King William Street.
The proposed design includes two illuminated fascia signs and an illuminated hoarding sign.
The signs will display the business name, logo and animal themed window vinyl as well as directions to the car park, entrance and exit for visiting customers.

A planning statement said a change of use application is not necessary but the incoming veterinary centre will need to alter and adapt the building to suit its requirements.
The statement also said to prevent a light nuisance to the local area, the lighting on the signs will be places on timer switches, operating until from 7.30am until 10pm on weekdays and from 8am until 10pm on weekends.
Needham Market Veterinary Centre has also submitted an application to build new openings, install a new access ramp and construct a fenced enclosure.
