An upcoming east Suffolk steam event has been cancelled after bad weather delayed building work.
The Long Shop Museum in Leiston has been closed since November 8 for the first phase of repairs to the building.
Museum director Fraser Hale said: "These extensive works are intended to secure the infrastructure of the museum for at least the next thirty years, and include reroofing the Long Shop, repairing and replacing windows, and installing an entirely new surface drainage system."
The initial phase of construction was meant to be completed by the end of this month but bad weather means the reopening has been delayed.

It is hoped the museum will be able reopen in early May – but the annual Steam Up event has been cancelled.
Originally due to take place on Sunday, April 7, the Steam Up event marks the official opening of the museum after the winter season.
The second phase of repairs will be carried out when the museum closes again for winter with the work expected to be fully completed by April next year.
