A west Suffolk man has been ordered to pay out more than £200 after driving while disqualified from holding a licence and travelling without insurance in Cheshire.
David McLoughlin, of Exeter Court in Haverhill, was sentenced at Crewe Magistrates' Court on January 23.
The 61-year-old had been charged with driving whilst disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence, and using the same vehicle without third party insurance.
Both offences took place on November 20 last year on the A556 Chester Road in Plumley, near Warrington, Cheshire, in a black Volkswagen Golf.
The charges were brought against him by Mersey-Cheshire Crown Prosecution Service.
McLoughlin was ordered by magistrates at the court to pay a fine of £120 in the hearing.
He was also told to pay a victim surcharge of £48, as well as costs of £120 - making a total of £288 to pay.
His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.
McLoughlin pleaded guilty to both charges, which was taken into account when sentencing.
