Drivers will be left facing a 20-mile diversion route while a road near a Suffolk town centre is closed for urgent works.
Benton Street, which connects to High Street in Hadleigh, will be closed between 8am and 6pm on Monday, April 8.
While the road is closed UK Power Networks will be carrying out utility repairs and maintenance works in the area.
According to Suffolk County Council's website the official diversion route is 20 miles long.
The signed diversion is expected to take around 35 minutes to people's journeys.
