There were delays on the A14 after emergency services were called to a crash.
Police were called to the westbound carriageway near Trimley St Martin, outside Felixstowe, at about 8pm on Sunday.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said a lane was closed due to debris being on the road as a result of a crash.
The extent of any injuries is not yet known.
According to the AA Traffic Map there were delays in the area.
