A woman was injured after she was hit by a car in a car park. 

Officers were called to the collision, in Magdalen Road in Hadleigh, at about 11.10am on Thursday.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said the crash involved a car and a pedestrian. 

They added the woman suffered minor injuries. 

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called just after 11am with reports of a road traffic collision on Magdalen Road in Hadleigh involving a car and a pedestrian.

“One ambulance was sent to the scene. One patient, an adult female, was transported to Ipswich Hospital for further care.”
