A 24-hour gym is getting ready to open its doors this weekend after taking over a former fitness studio.

Inspire Fitness is opening a second gym in King Street, Mildenhall, expanding from its original site in Hampstead Avenue.

The site was previously occupied by Energie Fitness, which suddenly closed due to "unforeseen circumstances" at the start of the year.

The new Inspire Fitness will be open for 24 hours every day of the year and will be a fitness based facility with a wide variety of free classes.

The gym hosted a walk-around day on Monday, April 1 giving people a chance to have a sneak peak before the official opening.

A spokesman for Inspire 24 Fitness said: "It's been a lot of hard work and we are almost there.

"It was fantastic to meet so many new faces and plenty of familiar ones too. The feedback was super positive and the excitement ahead of opening day is full on."

Inspire 24 Fitness will be opening at 7am on Saturday, April 6.
