Overnight closures are set to take place on the A14 for resurfacing.
Starting on Monday, April 15, National Highways will be carrying out work on the carriageway between junction 43 for Bury St Edmunds and junction 47a for Woolpit.
The work will see the road resurfaced and traffic signs, road markings and road studs replaced.
Phase one of the repairs will take place on the eastbound carriageway between April 15 and June.
Closures are set to be in force between 8pm and 6am during the weeks, with no work at weekends.
Phase two will take place in the autumn.

Drivers are advised to exit at junction 43 and travel along the A143 to Scole, before travelling south on the A140 to re-join the A14 at junction 51.
Project manager Kevin Barry said: “We will soon be starting our resurfacing scheme on the A14 between Bury St Edmunds and Elmswell.
"The scheme will provide safer and smoother journeys for drivers once complete on this busy section of the A14.”
