A dressings, sauces and marinades producer which has won numerous awards over its 12 years in business has announced it will close in what was a "bittersweet" decision for the owner.
Scarlett & Mustard, based in Earl Soham near Framlingham was founded by husband and wife duo Julian Pollard and Sandy Ruddock in 2012.
The company made condiments that were sold in more than 800 retail outlets.
Mr Pollard suddenly passed away in 2017 while on holiday in France, leaving Mrs Ruddock to run the business on her own.
Since the company formed, it has won numerous national awards, including being featured as one of 34 small businesses in a guide by the Business is Great Britain campaign in 2015, winning the EADT small business of the year award, and featuring in the Great Taste Awards.
Mrs Ruddock has also been awarded an Order of the British Empire Medal (BEM) for her services to business and to the voluntary sector in Norfolk and Suffolk.
Now though, Mrs Ruddock has made the decision to close the company, due to her retirement.
She said: "It's very sad because it's like a child to me.
"I have brought it up and looked after it, but on the other hand, it's been a fantastic journey and adventure.
"It's time to say goodbye though because I need to go off and do other things while I'm still young and fit and able to do so.
"It's a very hard, physical job.
"It's a bittersweet thing, both happy and sad. I've learnt a lot through the experience and it's been wonderful to see it grow and I've met lots of people along the way which has been nice.
"I decided it was more dignified to just say it's been a lovely thing, but it's time to go."
