A trial date has been set for a man from Suffolk who has denied controlling or coercive behaviour.
Wesley Wright, 46, of Ipswich Road, Otley, was before Ipswich Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on Wednesday.
He was charged with controlling or coercive behaviour in intimate or family relationship between June 2022 and July 2023.
It is alleged he assaulted the victim, threatened violence, sent her abusive messages, monitored where she was going, called her names, put her down and caused her to fear on two occasions that violence would be used against her.
Wright denies all charges and was granted bail with his trial date fixed for 20 October 2025.
