A date for the opening of a new gym at Suffolk Retail Park in Ipswich has been revealed.
JD Gyms has announced that it will open its doors to the public from 10am on June 4.
The gym chain is moving into the former Argos store in the retail park based in London Road.
The space has been vacant since 2022.
The new state-of-the-art facility which measures in at 20,000 sq ft, will feature some of the industry's best equipment and will include one of the area's largest free weight zones, Eleiko functional zone, sled track and dedicated glute area.
There will also be saunas in the changing rooms.

Hundreds of classes will also be on offer and the gym will operate 24/7.
Managing director of JD Gyms, Alun Peacock, said he was looking forward to opening the new gym on June 4.
He said: "Ipswich is a fantastic location for us and we're excited to expand the JD Gyms brand into Suffolk for the first time.
"We're incredibly proud to be creating such a high standard of fitness facility for the people of Ipswich."
