A 48-year-old painter and decorator who was involved in the supply of cocaine in Suffolk using the postcode delivery method will be sentenced next month.

Aidas Jakeliunas of Defence Close, London, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on Friday, May 17, for a plea and trial preparation hearing.

He pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine with intent to supply on May 15 last year.

Benedict Peers, for Jakeliunas, said his client had only been involved in drug dealing for one day.

He said he was currently unable to work because of spinal problems.

Judge Richard Kelly adjourned sentence until June 20 to allow the probation service to prepare a pre-sentence report on the defendant who is on bail on the condition he doesn’t enter Suffolk.
