An iconic act who appeared in hit TV show RuPaul's Drag Race UK will perform in Bury St Edmunds this summer. 

The producers behind NOW! That's What I Call...DRAG! have secured TV star Choriza May as the headline act for their Pride show at The Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds on August 10. 

The show will be co-hosted by drag duo Knuckle Sandwich and Will Power, who have produced more than 70 shows across the East of England since the start of 2022, with their debut at The Hunter Club in April 2022.

"We're thrilled to be joined by the iconic act from the hit BBC show, whose unique brand of drag brings a lot of joy to a lot of people in the LGBTQ+ community and beyond," they said.

"This is the first time an act of this calibre has been to Bury St Edmunds and we couldn't be more thrilled to be opening the doors for some of the nation's best loved acts to be gracing the local Bury stage, alongside a cast packed with the region's finest drag stars." 

Choriza May is a Spanish-British drag performer who appeared in season three of RuPaul's Drag Race UK which aired in 2021. 

Doors will open for the event at 8pm with the show starting at 8.45pm. 

Early bird tickets are £14 with general admission at £16. A VIP meet and greet is also available for £20.
