A new, weekly pop-up library is being offered in a Suffolk town.
Designed to pull the community closer together, the new weekly session is being offered in Beck Row by Suffolk Libraries.
This latest session will started at 1pm on June 18 and is due to be held every Tuesday at the Beck Row Parish Hub.
Finance for this new project comes from Section 106 development planning money via Suffolk County Council.
Beck Row joins three other local library sessions being run by Suffolk Libraries in Shotley, Red Lodge, and Rushmere.
Every Tuesday from 1pm to 3pm, individuals can browse and borrow books, reserve items from the entire Suffolk Libraries catalogue without any charge, and use computer and internet services.
The hub additionally offers a Tot Rock activity for children under five from 1.30pm to 2pm.
In addition, the session provides free refreshments, a large parking space, toilet facilities, and disabled access.
Janine Woolston, Suffolk Libraries outreach manager, said: “We’re delighted to be launching this new weekly session for the local community.
"Suffolk Libraries Local pop-up library sessions have been a success elsewhere in the county and enable us to bring a slice of library life to local communities where there is not an existing library branch.
"We’d love to welcome the local community at the first session so they can see what’s on offer.
"The parish council has been very supportive while we have been planning this, for which we are very grateful.”
A wide selection of books will be made available every week.
