A child aged younger than 10 left home without their parents noticing and was found half a kilometre from home in a village, police have said.
Officers from Felixstowe police were called to the Black Tiles in Martlesham, near Ipswich, at about 3.30pm on Sunday after the youngster was found walking around the village.
A member of the public had called the police after they discovered the child walking around on their own, only a short distance from the A12.

The relieved parents told police they did not even notice the child had left, as it all happened so quickly.
Police have warned parents to ensure back gates are locked and handles are out of reach to prevent incidents like this.
