Several lanes on the A14 are closed following a lorry crash in west Suffolk.

The lorry collided with the central reservation on the A14, near Newmarket, at around 3am today. 

Two of three eastbound lanes remain closed between J37 Newmarket and J38 Kennett in Cambridgeshire.

One of the three westbound lanes is also closed.

National Highways tweeted shortly before 6am to say that the recovery of the vehicle was in the final stages and that extensive barrier repair was still ongoing.

There are reports of very slow traffic in the area.
