Hundreds of people swapped their swim caps for Santa hats as the took a dip into the North Sea on Boxing Day morning.
The brave swimmers were the latest to brace the waves all in aid of raising money for charities around the county.
According to the organisers of the event, up to 600 people too part in the swim, with roads in the town full to the brim.

One man who took part in the event said on the official Facebook page that it was the "largest crowd he had ever seen".

The swimmers met at 11am opposite the Moot Hall on the beach in what was the 36th edition of the event.

For 2024, the proceeds from the swim will be donated to Aldeburgh United Charities, who are aiming to establish a new top up food pantry and Leiston Project40seven.
