From a claim to estate to planning permissions, here are the five public notices people in Suffolk should be aware of this week.

1. Level crossing road closure

Sizewell C will close the level crossing at Buckleswood Lane between the junction with B1119 Saxmundham and Saxmundham Road in Theberton.

The closure will take place between 10pm and 6am from Monday, February 24 until Thursday, February to facilitate qa ground investigation survey.

The diversion route will be B1119 Saxmundham Road, B1122, Pretty Road, Hawthorn Road, Harrow Lane and Buckleswood Lane and vice versa.

Enquiries should be made to Sizewell C Information Office at 48-50 High Street, Leiston, IP16 4EW between 8.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

2. Claim to estate

After the death of Ann Downton Banister, anyone who has a claim against or an interest in her estate, 16 Colletts Walk, Woodbridge, IP12 4HS must send written particulars to Kiri Nichols c/o Barker Gotelee, 41 Barrack Square, Ipswich, IP5 3RF.

Ms Downton Banister died on Monday, January 6 meaning claims must be sent to the solicitors by Monday, April 7 using reference KJN/LVER/100412-1.

3. Road closure

Suffolk County Council will close the U3101 Mill Lane in Trimley St Martin for fibre installation.

The road will be closed from the junction with Mill Close to the junction with Old Kirton Road.

The closure will take place from Thursday, February 6 until Wednesday, February 19 but access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be High Road, St Martins Green and vice versa.

4. Planning applications

An application has been submitted for the installation of a new external plant and scissor lift within the service yard at East of England Co-Op Supermarket, 189 Hamilton Road, Felixstowe. 

The notice has been published as it affects the setting of a listed building.

Queries must be submitted by Thursday, February 28 under the reference DC/25/0291/FUL.

Another outline application has been submitted for 16 dwellings, five of them affordable, at School Road in Knodishall.

The application has been advertised due to the scale.

Queries must be submitted by Thursday, February 28 under the reference DC/24/4546/OUT.

5. Road closure

Westgate Street in Bury St Edmunds is set to partially close, as ordered by Suffolk County Council.

The closure will be from the junction with Southgate Street for 165 metres westbound to facilitate a water meter exchange.

Pedestrians and cyclists will still have access during the closure scheduled from 7pm on Monday, February 17 until 5am on Tuesday, February 18.

The diversion route will be Southgate Street, Southgate Green, Cullum Road, Westgate Street and no vice versa.
