7 abnormal loads scheduled to come through Suffolk this week

1. Harwich Docks to A14 Cambridge Border

Weight: 40,000kgs

Two units and two self escort vehicles will make their way through Suffolk on Monday.

The energy plant components will leave from the docks to East Dock Road, to Parkeston Bypass/A136, A120, A12 and the A14 Cambridge Border.

2. Northamptonshire to Sizewell C

Time: 9am

Weight: 55,000kgs

Leaving from Rushden, this load will travel through the A14 Cambridge Border to the A12, B1122, Lover's Lane to the local roads to site.

A police escort will be in place from the A12 in Wickham Market.

3. Sizewell C to Northamptonshire

Time: 14.30pm

Weight: 60,400kgs

From Sizewell C, the abnormal load will travel on local roads to the B1122, A12 and finally to the A14 Cambridge Border.

It will be escorted by police from the A12 in Farnham.

Tuesday, March 18

4. Northamptonshire to Sizewell C

Time: 9am

Weight: 75,000kgs/60,000kgs

Leaving from Rushden, this load will travel through the A14 Cambridge Border to the A12, B1122, Lover's Lane to the local roads to site.

A police escort will be in place from the A12 in Wickham Market.

5. Northamptonshire to Sizewell C

Time: 10am

Weight: 75,000kgs

This load will travel through the A14 Cambridge Border to the A12, B1122, Lover's Lane to the local roads to Sizewell C.

A police escort will be in place from the A12 in Martlesham.

6. Sizewell C to Hertfordshire

Time: 12.15pm

Weight: 77,400kgs

After leaving the Sizewell C site, this abnormal load will use the local roads, Lover's Lane, B1122, A12, A14, A12 and the Essex border.

A police escort will follow the load from the A12 at the Wickham Market bypass.

7. Sizewell C to Hertfordshire

Time: 13.45pm

Weight: 75,000kgs

A police escort will be in place from the A12 at Farnham.

The abnormal load will use local roads before travelling on Lover's Lane, B1122, A12, A14 and the Cambridge Border.

A further nine abnormal loads are scheduled for later in the week.
