Suffolk Coastal MP Jenny Riddell-Carpenter is opening a new office in a seaside town in a former premises for charity East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH).
The Labour representative, who was elected in July, said the location in Felixstowe was chosen because it is at the heart of the largest town in the constituency.
The children's charity was based at the unit in Hamilton Road before moving across the road to former NatWest Bank premises on the corner of York Road.

Jenny said: "Opening my office in Felixstowe is a hugely important milestone. I was absolutely clear from the very beginning that the main office had to be in Felixstowe, right at the heart of the largest town in our constituency.
"This is about making sure residents have a local, visible and approachable place to get support - though I’ll continue holding regular surgeries and events in other locations to stay accessible across Suffolk Coastal.
"I’m proud to deliver on this commitment and look forward to my team being able to start supporting constituents from the new office very soon.
"While we’re not quite open to the public just yet, details including opening hours and how to book an appointment will be confirmed shortly."
EACH will move to York Road in Felixstowe on June 20
EACH had traded from the Hamilton Road store since November 2012, but opened in the former NatWest Bank in June last year.
Explaining the decision to move, Sarah Throssell, EACH's head of retail central operations, said: “We’re delighted and looking forward to building a bigger, better and brighter community shop for Felixstowe.
“The old shop has served a purpose and been our home since opening in 2012.
“However, as we’ve got bigger and our organisation has expanded, it feels like we’ve outgrown it."
The bank closed on September 27, 2017, with NatWest blaming a sharp reduction in the number of transactions.
