A series of demonstrations took place on Saturday, November 15 with a tractor rally in Cotton and a meeting of protesters in Aldham, Essex with community leaders also in attendance.
There were further events in Holton-St-Mary and Mellis, as well as Writtle and the Forncetts in Essex and Norfolk respectively.
The long-touted project was sent to the planning inspectorate by the National Grid in August, following years of consultation.
National Grid hope to expand the capacity of the electricity grid amid growing demand with a new 180-kilometre high transmission line.
This would comprise 159km of overhead lines supported by approximately 509 pylons and has seen opposition by political leaders as well as campaigners.
A public meeting with South Suffolk MP James Cartlidge will be held in Sproughton on Friday, November 21.
Essex Suffolk Norfolk Pylons campaign founder, Rosie Pearson, said: "This is the most important consultation of all those held since 2022. People may think they've said no to the pylons several times before but it is essential to note that previous consultations were run by National Grid.
"This time it's more important than ever, as a planning inspector will be looking over the proposals. He needs to hear about the impact on businesses, heritage, landscapes, wildlife, and the roads (many of which, including the A12 and A120 would be closed for periods during construction).
"We have never been presented with alternatives to the pylons, yet there are obvious better options, including High Voltage Direct Current undergrounding and an offshore grid. We urge everyone to register and have their say by 27th November, how to do so is set out on our website."
Joining the protests in Aldham was Harwich and North Essex MP Bernard Jenkin and Conservative mayoral candidate for Essex Louise McKinley.
