Tarmac Trading Limited is seeking approval for an operating centre at Tarmac Contracting, Pestoneuse Lane, Barnham, IP6 0PF.
The centre would accommodate 17 vehicles and 17 trailers.
Representations must be received by the Traffic Commissioner, with a copy to the applicant, within 21 days of this notice.
Temporary Road Closure and Weight Restriction Suspension: Chattisham
Suffolk County Council has announced a temporary closure of the C466, The Street, Chattisham, from Rivendell to Elm Cottage.
The closure is to facilitate tree trimming from power cables.
The road will be closed to all vehicles from 25/02/2026 to 27/02/2026 from 8:00am – 5:00pm.
A signed diversion will be in place via The Street, Chattisham; Chattisham Road; Hollow Road; Back Lane; The Street, Copdock and Washbrook; Swan Hill; the A1071; Duke Street; and Clay Hill, and vice versa.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
During this closure, the 7.5 tonne weight restriction will be temporarily suspended on:
- C495 Swan Hill, Copdock and Washbrook
- C495 Swan Hill, Sproughton
If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
