A man has been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash closed the A14 for more than an hour.

The collision was first reported to Suffolk Constabulary at 11.10am on Saturday, September 5.

The road was closed between junction 59 for Trimley St Martin and junction 60 for Trimley St Mary in the eastbound direction shortly afterwards.

A spokesman for Suffolk Constabulary has confirmed that a motorcyclist was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The road reopened at 12.40pm.
