Police have praised Essex Search and Rescue after a missing 79-year-old was found today.
Shelia Dale from Maldon, was reported as missing at around 9am this morning.
Reports suggest that she was last seen yesterday, Sunday, October 14.
At the time she was described by police as “extremely vulnerable” and both her family and police were concerned for her welfare.
Thankfully Ms Dale was found later today.
Essex Police announced on Twitter at about 3.15pm that Ms Dale had been located.
In their tweet, Essex Police praised Essex Search and Rescue for their efforts.
The tweet read: “We’re no longer looking for Shelia Dale, 79, who was reported missing from her home in #Maldon.
“Your shares and your support for our appeals real can make a difference, so thank you.
“Once again, praise must go to @EssexSAR who assisted with this search.”
