A MULTI vehicle smash caused chaos for motorists travelling out of Suffolk on the A12 this morning.
The collision happened on the London-bound carriageway of the road at the Brentwood Bypass.
Traffic restrictions were in place between J12 and J11 causing tailbacks and delays of up to an hour from around 7.30am.
All lanes have now reopened and traffic has returned to normal.
