Miles of tailbacks reported on A12 after crash near Suffolk/Essex border

A crash on the A12 is reported to have caused major delays for rush hour motorists this morning.
Two vehicles are reported to have collided in the northbound carriageway near to Stratford St Mary, causing tailbacks to Colchester United Football Ground.
One lane was blocked while police attended the scene.
Essex County Council’s travel report said the lane had cleared by around 8.45am.
Traffic was also said to be building in the southbound lane.
