Drivers are being warned they may experience delays tomorrow as police escort the transportation of an abnormal load through the county.

The 4-metre wide, 22m long and 4.9m high storage tank weighing 52,000kg will be escorted at 1pm from Cookson and Zinn, Station Road, Hadleigh, to the A14 Cambridgeshire border.

Suffolk police will escort the convoy from Hadleigh to the A14, and the route will be as follows; Pond Hall Road – Duke Street – A1071 – A1214 – A14 Cambridgeshire border.

There are four tanks moving in total – in convoys of two – so therefore the journey will run twice.

Delays can be expected along these routes.
