EMERGENCY services were today dealing with a chemical spill at a leisure centre in Norfolk.
The Marina Centre in Great Yarmouth was evacuated at around 9am after a hydrochloric acid container was over-filled, causing fumes to escape.
Police cordoned off the area in Marine Parade, while around 40 firefighters liaised with the leisure management and the chemical company to tackle the spillage.
A spokesman for Norfolk fire service said it would be a long, ongoing operation.
