An extra session has been added for the examination of the Garden Communities section of Braintree and Tendring district and Colchester borough council’s Local Plan.
This extra date has been added by the Indpendent Planning Inspector to hear matters specifically relating to a proposal by developers Lightwood Strategic for a proposed farden village at Monks Wood near Pattiswick, east of Braintree.
The proposal, which the councils do not believe is a suitable development, could not be fully examined at the original hearing due to a delay in registering their representations to the Councils’ Plan.
The additional hearing date is on Wednesday May 9 at the Weston Homes Community Stadiium in Colchester.
Those who are invited to take part in the hearing session have already been informed of this by the Planning inspectorate, but the extra date is open for the public to attend.
