Adults in the Suffolk Coastal area are proving its never too late to learn a new skill.
More than 170 people turned up to workshops organised by Coastal Leisure Learning (CLL) at Saxmundham Free School, including life drawing, willow weaving and rag rug making.
Sian Hart, of CLL, said: “There was a real buzz in the building, with most classes full and having waiting lists. “Feedback was fantastic too – students even applauding the tutor at the end of the life drawing class and several signing up for termly classes after their taster sessions.”
More workshops take place at Stradbroke High School this Saturday and February 28, at Saxmundham Free School on March 7 and at Farlingaye High School on March 14. Sign up at coastalleisurelearning.co.uk.
CLL also wants to hear from new tutors on 01728 833171.
