A woman believed to be in her 70s was taken to hospital following a collision in Essex.
The East of England Ambulance Service received a call at just after 8am to a report of a pedestrian being hit by a car in Oxford Road, Clacton.
An ambulance crew, rapid response vehicle and the Essex Air Ambulance attended.
The pedestrian suffered head and collarbone injuries, but was in a stable condition.
She was taken to Colchester General Hospital by land ambulance, with the helicopter’s critical care team on board, for further care.
