The East Anglian Air Ambulance was sent to Newmarket yesterday after a man suffered a cardiac arrest in the town.
EAAA doctor Jeremy Mauger and critical care paramedic Neil Flowers were sent to the incident at 3.15pm.
The Anglia One team arrived to help treat the man, who is in his 60s, in just six minutes.
He was then taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in a serious condition by a East of England Ambulance Service crew.
