ROCKETS reserve Tommy Allen has little doubt that the title-chasing Rye House team have to up their game away from home if they want to be in with a shot of honours.

Rye House beat Scunthorpe quite comfortably at home on Saturday night in the Premier League. But it is on their travels that the Rockets have struggled to gain points, as the Tommy Gunn admits.

He said: “There are certain places where we go where we should come back with all the points. That's what teams like King's Lynn do, they go to the vulnerable tracks and they make sure they come away with a win.

“We don't do that. We go there and come away with one point. If we want to win the league we're going to have to turn that around in the next few months.

“All the boys know that and that's what we're aiming for now.”

The Rockets have a habit of making late runs for silverware, as they did in 2007, and Allen believes they have the chance to repeat that performance this time around.

“We have done that in the past and it's what we need to do now. It's getting late on in the season. It creeps up on you and you get to a point when you realise you have to start working as a team and that's what we do well.”
