DETECTIVES have this evening charged a 28-year-old man in connection with the alleged gang rape of a 16-year-old girl in Felixstowe.
Arturas Bagdziunas, of St Andrews Road, Felixstowe, has been charged with three counts of rape.
He was arrested yesterday afternoon was quizzed by detectives at Ipswich police station.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at magistrates court in Ipswich tomorrow morning.
Four people have already been charged with rape in connection with the incident which is said to have taken place in Holland Road between midnight and 1.20am on New Year’s Day.
A fifth man is already on police bail after also being arrested on suspicion of rape.
