A popular classic car show is returning to a Bury St Edmunds shopping centre – with a huge array of vehicles set to be showcased.

The Classic Car Club of Bury St Edmunds will display a selection of rare to modern classics, dating back as far as World War One, at the Arc shopping centre for the second year.

People are invited to experience the collection on Saturday, September 22, and Sunday, September 23, between 9am-5pm each day.

There will also be a variety of competitions and a chance to beat friends and family in the four racing simulators.

The Arc will also be holding a competition throughout the weekend to win a Radical Race Experience Day worth over £100.

Donations will be made on the day to support the Classic Car Club of Bury St Edmunds’ charity of the year - the Batten Disease Family Association, which supports families with children who are affected by CLN2 disease.

Colin Roberts, Arc centre manager, said: “As a huge classic car enthusiast myself, welcoming the Classic Car Club of Bury St Edmunds along to showcase their huge array of beautiful cars for the second time is a dream come true.

“We have then incorporated this into a weekend of race fun, with our virtual racers, where you can fight for the top spot.

“We are so happy that this has become an annual event and hope you all come along to visit the classics of Suffolk and to support the local Classic Car Club of Bury St Edmunds.”
