Woodbridge Library is to be visited by a cast member of the world’s longest running soap, The Archers.

James Cartwright, who has played PC Harrison Burns in the radio drama for the last four years will be talking about his acting career on April 19.

His career includes winning a Royal Television Society best leading actor award for his role in the BBC’s Johnny Shakespeare.

He also won The Scotsman Fring First Award for the one-man play Raz.

In 2014 he was nominated for Best Leading Actor in a West End Production for his role in Passing By.

Younger viewers may remember him as Nathan, a careworker in The Story of Tracy Beaker.

Tim Cornford from the Friends of Woodbridge Library (FOWL) will host the evening after a brief AGM for FOWL.

The talk will take place at 7pm, entrance is free and all are welcome to attend the evening.
